Follows the list of offered on Carnival cruises fitness classes (lead by professional trainers). Some of the fitness classes are complimentary (aerobics, stretching, abs, body conditioning, Tai Chi) and some are at fee pp (Yoga, Pilates, spinning, boot camp, indoor cycling, personal training sessions). Daily, at the International Lounge (aft on Promenade Deck) are scheduled complimentary health seminars (fitness-wellness-beauty) themed on aging, posture, detox, dieting, weight-loss, skincare, pro-collagen, acne attack /teens). ZSPA (teen spa treatments for teenagers 12-17 yo) include facials, massages, scrubs, manicures/pedicures, hair styling-coloring-cutting. The ship has no Thermal Suites (Tepidarium with heated loungers). During massages and wraps, guests should wear bathing suits. Showerheads are massaging (1 rain head above, 4 side). The lockers’ showers are glass-enclosed and multi-jet. Some of the most fun I've had in a while. The fore-located Spa Carnival and Fitness Center (open between 6 am - 10 pm) is the ship’s wellness complex consisting of Gymnasium (complimentary, access via the lockers, floor-ceiling windows, equipped with free weights /TROY dumbbells, weight machines, treadmills, steppers, ellipticals, recumbent exercise cycles, Concept 2/indoor rowing machines, Kinesis wall), Fitness Studio (for classes /part of the gym, glass-enclosed), Spa Whirlpool (in the gym, glass-enclosed / glass-roof covered section), Beauty Salon (facials, manicure/pedicure, hair styling-cutting-coloring, eyebrow shaping, makeup, waxing, grooming-barbering, teeth whitening, Medi-Spa), Treatment Rooms (incl for acupuncture, couples massage, hot stone, Botox, body wraps /dry float bed), Spa Reception, separate male/female lockers (2 changing rooms, each with complimentary sauna/steam room/showers). There is an 80's party on the Lido deck one night, I wish I would have known about that sooner- I wouldn't have gone to bed so early and I would have brought 80's clothes! We have already booked our next Carnival cruise- looks like this might become a yearly thing that we do! Highly recommend for a girls trip or a trip with friends. He works so hard and does such a great job. He remembered our names and said hi to us every time we came back to the room. He was by far the friendliest person on the entire ship. He was at our service what seemed to be 24/7. I cannot recall his name- but we were in room 6234. Additionally, our cabin steward on the ship, was also AMAZING- by far the highlight of the trip for us. The lead server that we ate dinner with every night in the main dining room was Alan- and he gets the highest praise- he took amazing care of us. We got two interior rooms for the four of us, and the price was fantastic. The last cruise I went on was in 2006, Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas- so that's what I have to compare this to. I have not been on a cruise in 16 years- I had some of the most fun ever on this cruise with my friends. Ahead of sharing your own feedback, please bear in mind that the roles of onboard staff can feel thankless and it only takes those one or two ‘non-constructive comments’ to ruin all the positive posts (like this one!). Andy for captain! □ Regarding the unpleasant sewage smell in various areas of the ship - whilst this was true, it was not the fault of the staff onboard plus I’m hopeful this will be ‘fixed’ when the ship has its refurb in October. Andy and team, THANK YOU for going the extra mile to keep all guests smiling. From the friendly stewards preparing the cabins to the kitchen and restaurant staff. Attend the buffet opposed to dining room which had more options □ The most important feedback I have is in relation to the friendly, hardworking and simply incredible staff on the ship. That said, there was always a way to work around it ie. The food was generally delicious with genius and creative chefs! My only call out is that sometimes it was rather heavy on the Shellfish and pork options which some of us were unable to eat. A brilliant cruise experience came to an end on 17th July 23 and our family of 14 wish we could do it all over again.
